3D Printer Submission Form

Due to high demand and the Baton Rouge Maker Faire, it may take an additional 2-3 weeks to complete your request. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Patrons are welcome to submit a model to be printed on one of the library's 3D printers, whether it's something you've designed yourself or something from a repository such as Thingiverse.

The cost of printing varies depending on the printer you select and the amount of material used. The cost is $1 plus the cost of material used. See our printer comparison for more information. Models will be weighed upon completion to calculate the final cost.

Costs must be paid by cash or check when picking up your print at the Main Library.

Requests will be fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. We will do our best to complete your model within 10-14 business days, but if demand for the printer is high, wait times may be longer. We'll contact you by email when it is ready for pickup.

Provide a link to the model you'd like to print, or indicate that you will provide the file by email.

I will attach my file in a follow-up email. Email the file to makerspace@ebrpl.com. The address you send the file from must match the one you supply on this form. The only file type we can accept for 3D printing is .STL (Stereo-lithography).
